Necromunda - Orlocks!

Welcome Grognards and Young Guard!

Today, the final installment of my October painting spree; completing the pile of Necromunda miniatures on the pile of shame. Some had been there for decades!

As old school Necromunda players know, the original box set included Goliaths and Orlocks in plastic.

Below is my collection of both metal and plastic Orlocks. Amongst the plastic figures are a few conversions to allow upgrades.

Necromunda - Goliaths!

Welcome to another installment of 'Of Dice and Army Men'!

Continuing with my October work painting old school Necromunda (and reducing the giant pile of shame), today I have for you, the Goliaths!

Both metal and plastic models are for the offering today. Of course, the plastic Goliaths and Orlocks were the first for many Necromunda players. Many of the plastics have received some conversions to enable different kits and heavier weapons.

Necromunda - Cawdor Gangers!

I'm still cleaning up postings from my painting spree in October. Today is another foray into old school Necromunda; Cawdor!

I tried to preserve the old school colors on these guys but bring the shading into the current styles.

Necromunda - Bounty Hunters - Hired Guns

Welcome back fellow Grognards and Young Guard!

Just another quick post of some Necromunda miniatures FINALLY painted and no longer on the "pile of shame"!

These two fellows can be used as Hired Guns or Bounty Hunters in Necromunda. Of course, they will go well in my Galactic Heroes Games.

The first is a Cyborg Bounty Hunter/ Hired Gun. With chainsword in cybernetic hand and hotshot lasrifle, he is ready to bring his bounty to justice!

The second Bounty Hunter/ Hired Gun is armed to the teeth, with Bolt Gun, Bolt Pistol, Shotgun, Chainsword, Grenades and more. This Bounty Hunter means serious business (setting aside the mutton chops! LOL!)

Beware Underhive Scum...if there is bounty on your head, better run for the deepest parts of the Underhive, because these guys are on your trail!

Way Back Machine - Necromunda Adeptus Arbites

Greeting fellow Grognards and Young Guard!

Continuing with the deep dive into the pile of shame, I present for you my Adeptus Arbites. Having collected about half of what you see below over 25 years ago(?), within the last year, I had some ebay luck and found some additional troops for a great price! Of course, I couldn't pass up some OOP minis to add to the pile for 'cheap', so the purchase was made.

With the pending trip to Pennsylvania this past October, I was pressing hard to paint up all of the old Necromunda forces to take them with to have them available for gaming.

All of my old paint jobs were "touched up" and the new troops were painted to match. I'm quite happy with these guys. I really love the Arbites models and can't wait to get them on the table.

With these 16 models, I have broken the 400 miniatures painted in one year threshold and continue to drive up the record anew with each model completed! 2024 is going to be a tough one to break this record. Maybe I should stop painting? (Hmmm...)

Let the Ganger scum of the Underhive beware, the Adeptus Arbites are on the move and will be cracking some skulls! GAME ON!

Late "Orktober"

Greetings Grognards and Young Guard!

Sometime the real world gets in the way of the hobbies we love. Of course, the real world tends to pay for the hobby habits we have, so not really complaining!

Unfortunately I missed the "Orktober" submission this year, but thought I'd put it out there anyway. Some of these models have been sitting in my "pile of shame for decades".

As I was going to see some old friends in Pennsylvania in October and our plan was to play some Necromunda, this gave me an opportunity to knock out painting/ re-painting my Necromunda gangs as well as getting to the Orks that had been collecting along side of them in an old GW figure case.

Many of these miniatures were from the Gorkamorka line, but I can't wait to use them for some Fistful of Lead Galactic Heroes or in a Necromunda game or campaign. Who knows, I might even build a Xenos Rampant army of these Greenskins (UPDATE: I have some more Orks with Shootas and Choppas ordered and on the way to make that come true!).

Hope you enjoy the troops below! This also continues to pad my 2023 Painted miniatures record and is going to make breaking it in 2024 a real challenge! Fortunately, there is a large "pile of shame" ready to supply minis to help me break the record in 2024!
