Stone Golems - Dragon Rampant Army of Anubis/ Scorpion King Army

 Welcome back again, fellow Grognards and Young Guard!

The clock is running out on 2024, and I am working hard to post what I've finished this year.

The latest addition to my Army of Anubis/ Scorpion King Army for Dragon Rampant is a unit of Stone Golems, made by Reaper.

Some of you may recall that I had previously painted four of these for my Dragon Rampant Stone Giant Army.  Looking at the two armies on my bookcase, I realized that the paint scheme on the Golems matched the Anubis Army colors, so I figured I just paint up four new ones the same way and base them for the desert. 

They were also a mini project to clear my head from the multitude of Tiger Claw Space Marines and vehicles I have been painting (ie. a seemingly endless project)!  I will have those I have painted posted as well before 2024 ends.

Dragon Rampant - Army of Anubis

 

Greeting Fellow Grognards and Young Guard!

Welcome to another installment of 'Of Dice and Army Men'.  

Today I present the Army of Anubis!  Ever since I saw the Mummy Returns and the Anubis Warriors (and the Scorpion King), I was hooked into wanting to put together an army for the table top, but I didn't have any rules to use them with at the time.

Fast forward to today.  Dragon Rampant gives me that ability to field any models I wish that fit the bill for the army I want to build.  Avatar of Anubis is a 3D print purchased off ebay.  Scorpion King, and Anubis Guard are Reaper Miniatures.  Anubis Warriors and Archers are Crocodile Games Miniatures.  Scorpions are from WizKids.  For your enjoyment, I present, the Army of Anubis!
